Shayne Gee, 27, and Jerry Daugherty, 37, Remembered Following Fatal East Conemaugh Borough Incident
Shayne Gee, 27, of Johnstown, and Jerry Daugherty, 37, of East Conemaugh, died following an incident near Second Street in East Conemaugh Borough, Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after 3 p.m., and authorities found Gee inside an SUV that later traveled up an embankment and overturned.
Officials pronounced Gee deceased at the scene at 4:47 p.m.
Responders transported Daugherty to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where Daugherty died in intensive care at 5:25 p.m.
Investigators examined portions of First and Second streets into Sunday night and carried out search warrants at nearby homes.
The Cambria County District Attorney described the incident as isolated and confirmed that the public faced no continuing danger.
Multiple agencies and the Cambria County Special Response Team assisted with the investigation, which authorities reported on November 3, 2026.
